Word is getting out that Maple Grove and Munn’s United Church, plus a third church (awaiting formal approval) plan to bring Afghan refugees to Canada. Thank you for sharing this news with friends and family and encouraging them to donate to the cause on our website.
Our local councillors are sharing the news and articles will be appearing in various neighbourhood newsletters. However, we need to keep spreading the word. Please do it any way you can; by word of mouth, emails, texts, Facebook or Twitter or any other vehicle you think might work.
