This lecture, which runs approximately from the rise of the Persian Empire to 70 A.D., is aimed to give context when reading the New Testament as well as some help for those going to the Holy Land.
Wednesday, April 4: Later Holy Land: From the Destruction of the Temple To The Oslo Accords
This lecture presents an overview of the tumultuous history of the Holy Land from 70 A. D. to the 1990’s with a vast cast of characters including Romans, Rebels, Byzantines, Arabs, Kurds, Mamluks, Mongols, Turks, Brits, and Zionists. It will be of special interest to those going to Holy Land.
