Our Re-entry Team has made some effort to ensure everyone’s health and safety.
If you choose to attend, here’s what you can expect:
- Enter only through the back door off the parking lot, one person, one couple, one family group at a time, six feet apart
- The sanctuary and lobby area will have been sanitized before you arrive
- If you believe you have been exhibiting Covid-19-related symptoms, please stay home.
- Everyone, except children under 12 and persons with respiratory concerns needs to wear a mask
- Hand sanitizer is available from dispensers in the narthex and in the sanctuary
- Try not leave anything you need in the car that you may wish to retrieve
- You will be signed in as present offering your name and phone number
- When you enter the sanctuary, leave your offering in the offering plate near the sound booth
- A worship assistant will guide you to a seat in the pews which will be marked as “single”; “pairs” or “group”
- If you need to use the elevator, only two persons at a time are permissible
- We hope you will not need to use the washroom while attending worship; but, if you do, you can only use the washroom in the lobby.
A worship assistant will sanitize it after you have finished - We will not be able to sing, but you will be invited to participate in hymns with simple, rhythmic movements
- There will be no bulletins, hymns books, or Bibles available
- When worship is ended, we invite you to leave in an orderly fashion maintaining social distance. Exit the way you came in
- Use hand sanitizer again on the way out
- Go to the parking lot and do not linger for conversation in the lobby.
- Volunteers will sanitize the sanctuary after everyone has left
- The service will be recorded ahead of time and available for online viewing during the following week.
This may be Rev. Disher’s last service with us. He will be in the parking lot offering iced tea and water and time for conversation for anyone who wishes to express their gratitude. Bring your own lawn chair.
If you can’t be present on Sunday, August 30, Rev. Disher will also be in the parking lot to share thanks on Wednesday afternoon (2-4) and evening (6:30-8:30), August 26th. Bring your own lawn chair
