Christmas Countdown is On! from Rev. Jessica
Advent will be soon upon us which means Christmas will be too. I’m starting to plan for our Christmas Eve services and need your help. In addition to our in person Christmas Eve service we will be offering a pre recorded Christmas Eve Family Story Night so that families with young children (and the young at heart!) can gather at home and listen to the Christmas story told by some of our church family (in costume!) and some favourite Christmas music from our chancel choir.
I am looking for volunteers to do a short reading and dress up as one of the following characters: Mary, Joseph, shepherd, innkeeper and someone to be the voice of the donkey (and use the hand puppet I have). If you’d like to help let me know. It will be a fun way to tell the Christmas story for our young Maple Grovers!
Also if you have things that you think would make great costumes or props please let me know! Rev.
