This Saturday John & Nancy Buchanan will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary with their family. They were married in Ottawa on October 7,1961.
“We met at the University of Guelph in 1958 when we both had student summer jobs. We were married in 1961 in Ottawa at Southminster United Church. We’ve lived in London, Ontario; Solon, Ohio; Wilton, Connecticut and Oakville. We joined MGUC in 1974.
“We have three children: Heather in Vancouver, Jamie in Waterloo and Jane in Houston. We have two grandchildren: Drew and Charlotte who were both baptized at Maple Grove.
“We love our Maple Grove friends.“
