Stewardship Message News from the Grove
Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received. (1 Peter 4:10)
Dear Members of Maple Grove:
It is the time of year again for Stewardship at Maple Grove United Church, the time when we review the year gone by and look forward to the operational and Mission & Service needs of the Church. We talk about how your gifts of time, talent and treasure can help us to continue to be a loving, engaged and successful Church. We will be having Stewardship related services over the next few weeks, discussing our needs and offering everyone a chance to contribute to those needs.
Please see attached our Stewardship package: Our Stewardship Letter that introduce the campaign with some interesting statistics; our commitment letter that we would ask that you fill out with your contributions of time, talent and treasure; and our Narrative Budget, which explains about all the ministries and activities undertaken by the Church in the current year. Please fill out the commitment letter and return it to Paula Warden, our church secretary, before November 17 2024, if possible.
We invite you to include a financial gift to the church. Practicing generosity with your money will not just make a real difference in other people’s lives through the ministry of the congregation of Maple Grove but will also make a real difference in yours. Generous giving is a meaningful spiritual practice. It will help you grow in your faith, and studies show it will actually make you feel happier and more positive.
Please click on the DONATE button below which will direct your to the donation page. If your gift is over $20 and your contact information is included with it, we will happily issue you a tax credit receipt for the full amount.
If you have questions about giving to Maple Grove, we would be happy to hear from you – please use the Contact page to reach out to us or call the church office.
With heartfelt thanks for your generous support,
The Stewardship Committee.
