Introducing The Coldest Night of The Year
Food for Life
February 24, 2018
Glen Abbey Community Centre, Oakville
The Coldest Night of the Year is a fun, family friendly 2, 5, 10 km walk that raises money and awareness for the hungry, homeless and hurting. This is a great opportunity to get involved in your community, support Food For Life and those who are struggling to find their next meal this winter.
How you can make a difference!
TEAM MAPLE GROVE continues to grow! We will now have at least 7 walkers on our team for this event. This is a great opportunity to support an important cause and at the same time raise the profile of Maple Grove United Church within the community.
If you wish to sponsor any of our walkers, you can see Dorothy Gartshore after church, bring  cash or a cheque (made out to the Coldest Night of The Year) to the church over the next week, or
visitwww.cnoy.org/oakville to donate directly.
Register individually or be part of TEAM MAPLE GROVE and help raise funds for Food for Life.
Dorothy Gartshore will be coordinating this event.
Please email her at gartshore.d@gmail.com if you wish to join the Maple Grove team.

Food for Life (FFL) provides nutritious food to over 80 food banks and food programs across Halton. FFL works with local food wholesales, farmers and grocery stores to source and deliver excess food to people in need. In 2017, FFL delivered 3.3 million pounds of food to those in our community who are struggling to find their next meal.
