OUTREACH VOLUNTEER POSITION OPENING – Kerr Street Mission Meals
Are you looking to lead a dedicated team of volunteers to run Maple Grove United Church’s meal program at Kerr Street Mission? We have lots of volunteers who have helped in the past, however we are in need of someone to take the lead in this important volunteer activity.
With the current restrictions due to covid-19 the program is scaled down and involves purchasing prepared meals that are then provided to Kerr Street Mission who handle the distribution to those in need. We typically volunteer twice a year and the new schedule is out for 2021.
No fundraising!! – the monies for this program are being donated by the congregation on an ongoing basis so there is no need to fundraise.
