Final harvesting of the tomatoes in our Community Garden on Saturday and the turnout and enthusiasm was quite good despite the inclement weather!
Below are a few pictures of the volunteers and work and the bounty that was retrieved. We will be holding these tomatoes in a warm place with the hope that they will ripen before they are donated to various food banks in the area. Thanks to all of the volunteers who performed under the watchful leadership of Ali.
We’re not done yet however! Soon we will be holding our fall planting which includes garlic as well as some other late season vegetables.
