Sandra Onufryk, Hugh & Patty Wanless – (https://maplegroveunitedchurch.org/afghan-refugees/) – and Kathryn Joaquim (https://maplegroveunitedchurch.org/helping-refugees/) were all named for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee medal for their work with refugees(as were 3 from St. John’s UC),
Carol Heimbach – (https://maplegroveunitedchurch.org/mguc-volunteers-prepare-50-meals-at-kerr-street-mission/) – was also named for our work with the Kerr Street Mission
