Mary, Mary, quite contrary how does your spinach grow?
Well, that’s not quite how the verse goes, but it does help us to remember that to grow spinach, or indeed any vegetable, you need to water and weed (especially at the start) to help it on its way.
We are looking for anyone who might find 30 min once a week to come and water or weed the ‘greens’ Community Garden bed at Maple Grove United.
Don’t worry about when – we can fit around any schedule. Don’t worry about what to do, our resident garden guru Ali is on hand to show you what to do and how and to encourage and make you feel comfortable.
